Behavioral Health Services Act

Many of Calaveras County’s Behavioral Health programs are funded by the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA), otherwise known as Prop 1. The purpose of BHSA is to create an innovative, integrated mental health system that promotes wellness, recovery, and resiliency while reducing the stigma of accessing services. BHSA programs can be found within the mental health services division and throughout the community.
